CreditLock™ is an additional layer of protection which can be added to your IDFreeze® service and works by placing a freeze on your credit report. In other words, when a freeze is placed on your credit report, all three major credit reporting bureaus, Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax, cannot allow your credit report to be accessed by third parties. This prevents identity theft by not allowing large purchases to be made in your good name.
