With Clear from American Express® there are no late fees, no balance transfer fees, , no cash advance fees, and no over-limit fees. When the introductory rate of 0 percent for six months expires, the annual percentage rate jumps to 13.99 percent plus prime.

American Express offers several flexible payment term credit cards, with “the Clear Card” being one of the most attractive of the lot; however, Blue from American Express® and Blue Sky from American Express℠ offer similar repayment terms with better rewards for travel related expenses. Flexible payment allows the cardholder to pay charges over time or pay the balance of the card in full each month.
